Client are looking for a facilities manager to manage the fit out of new and current offices across the region and to ensure they are maintained to a high standard. Client welcomes applications for part time and flexible working and would be happy to discuss potential options with you as part of your application.
In a typical week, you will:
- Support the Location Managers with the fit out or minor works of offices within their locations.
- Support Project Directors with the setting up of new project site supervision offices (Project Set Up Checklist)
- Lead office improvement projects by managing and coordinating multidisciplinary teams (IT, Electrical, Acoustics, etc.) to ensure design is fit for purpose and compliant with Workplace Guidelines and Premises Guidance-Sustainable Environment.
- Manage Contractors ensuring compliance with Control of Contractors Procedure.
- Review BOQs ensuring costs are comparative with market rates and materials are fit for purpose.
- Manage the annual maintenance contracts of all ME offices to ensure we are receiving value for money and a consistent service.
- Ensure our offices are a safe and secure place to work in and access is controlled.
- Support Location Managers in ensuring all offices are maintained to a high standard.
- Lead and manage the Facilities Managers, supporting their training and development.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
- • AutoCAD experience.
- • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
